This Privacy Policy explains how remiX (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Chrome extension and related web services.

remiX is a productivity tool that helps users rewrite and adapt publicly available text content on X in order to create original posts more efficiently. All actions performed by remiX are user-initiated.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to provide the Service.

a. Account Information

When you sign in, we may collect:

• Email address

• Authentication identifiers (via Supabase authentication)

• Subscription status and plan information

Authentication may be performed via:

• Magic link email login

• Google OAuth

We do not store passwords.

b. Content You Choose to Process

When you click the remiX button:

• The visible text of the selected post is temporarily processed in order to generate a rewritten version

• This text is processed only at your request

We do not collect content automatically and do not monitor browsing activity.

c. Usage Information

We may store limited usage data such as:

• Number of remixes performed

• Subscription and credit usage

This information is used only to operate the Service and enforce plan limits.

d. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe.

We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials.

Stripe may collect payment and billing information in accordance with their own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Authenticate users

• Provide and improve the remiX service

• Process payments and manage subscriptions

• Enforce usage limits

• Maintain service reliability and security

We do not use your information for advertising or tracking purposes.

4. What We Do Not Do

To be clear, remiX does not:

• Automatically post content on your behalf

• Scrape content in the background

• Track private messages

• Monitor activity outside of explicit user actions

• Modify posts without your approval

• Collect data unrelated to the service

All actions occur only when you actively click the remiX button.

5. Third-Party Services

remiX uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase for authentication and user management

• Stripe for payment processing

• AI service providers to generate rewritten text based on user-provided input

These services receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

• Authentication and account data is retained while your account is active

• Usage data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service

• Text content submitted for rewriting is not stored permanently

You may request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information
